This is partially curriculum (schedule) for the students. This is the teachers maual for what Skolverket says about different courses and what we have to look into at all times. The student have to be avare of what Skolverkat says about the goals they have to achive during the three years so they can graduate from school. It´s very important that they know what too expect i every course. This is the teachers goal during the semester. If we fail, the student have less chans to get approved.
Hi Mairone, yes, we have the same sort of format, our courses are made up of Units of Competency and they are made up of the learning goals with the skills and knowledge that students must have to receive their Certificate or Diploma. This is the challenge for the VET teacher: to design the classes in a way that helps the student learn and practice to achieve their qualification. That is the part I find most interesting about teaching. Finding creative ways to design lessons.
