Often the lesson leads to discussions over ethic
matters, or approach towards patients. Sometimes the pupils get more
awareness about their own benefits and how they actually think about different
topics
This group has brought their coffee to their discussion, so they can continue without having to go for a break. Its not only women who take these courses, we have quit a few men as well
Ethic is a subject that can be disscused for a long time

ReplyDeleteHi Kerstin, These discussions are so important! I can see that there is an entrance to the students then in their professional lives will see the advantages to reflect in their daily work as nurses.
ReplyDeleteWhat I think makes our classes in VET interesting is the process of engaging students in lots of discussion to share their ideas on topics such as ethics as you mentioned. The more they listen to others and process their thoughts they learn. For me the challenge is finding ways to promote discussion in different ways. I agree that ethics is an ongoing area in our work. It is one of our main subjects.
ReplyDeleteSo true Dispirit40, and Laila! One of the biggest challenges for staf working with others a r e to discuss and reflekt on our and others work. If we whant to change the "met" to a even more positive, we have to reflect and discuss more in an open way
ReplyDeleteI agree with you all, discussions on ethics amongst other subjects and reflections of the work are as important as the actual work in order for it to develop in the best way, I believe.
